Sonic Integrity Testing (SIT/PIT) is an indirect method of testing Pile Foundation. Sonic
Integrity testing is simple means to detect the major discontinuity and defect within the pile
and is standardized by ASTM D5882 Standard Test Method for Low Strain Integrity Testing. There
are two methods of Sonic Integrity Testing;
PULSE ECHO METHOD (TIME DOMAIN)
TRANSIENT RESPONSE METHOD (FREQUENCY DOMAIN)
